Threads are fine but which genius came up with the logic that the latest message should be at the bottom of a trail - makes absolutely no sense especially when you have exchanged 5 or more msgs back and forth. The frustration in trying to figure out where you are in the realm of things is unbelievable. 2. Why no folders, geeks? Just trying to be different from the Microsoft way is not good unless you have a revolutionary new way of things that actually works and is widely hailed by your users. BTW - folders have been around for a lot longer than Microsoft and will always make sense to everyone except your tech wizards. The fact that Google felt that having an email option for users was essential to get more eyeballs proves that others like yahoo and ms have been doing the same innovations long before your business was conceived. So don't try to reinvent what already works. 3. Give me a simple option to get rid of the threaded message hierarchy if I don't care for it or don't want it. Why is a simple HTML interface not one of the standard user options? I only see it when the usual interface can't load for some reason. 4. I don't want you to be doing auto-saves of my drafts unless you give me a choice to turn it off. the last thing I want is to realize that while your servers were thinking I mis-typed something but could not get the tactile satisfaction of seeing it on the screen instantly. It’s kind of like the car thinking for 10-15 seconds before responding to a steering turn by when you have probably crashed into a tree! Poor lip syncing is ok for c grade Chinese movies - poor keyboard-screen syncing is not ok for a multi-billion $ company's flagship product. 5. I don't want you to auto-check for new mails when my computer is in the standby or sleep mode. Many a times I find cryptic errors show up on my screen saying "not enough resources to run api" etc. and the only thing that seems to have happened besides my battery being drained to the bottom is that another spam message has been downloaded while I was away!
